,UAV means unmanned aerial vehicles. Now it can be used for pollution checking and monitoring. A special type of unmanned air vehicle has been designed for easy checking of contaminated water.
These drones can go to such areas and check the water samples and pollution, where no roads and no human can go.
It is developed in collaboration with the Indian company UCAL Technologies and Korea. These UAVs can fly in the air as well as float over water and are able to take water samples.
The drone is equipped with a camera as well as a water sampling system, which can take pictures of the pollution potential area and later go with the water sample taking the system to bring up to half a liter of a water sample from the identified area.
The drone has a portable platform for camera and water sampling taking system, which can be replaced by changing the camera to a water sampling taking system. These drones can carry up to 10 kg and can fly up to 60 minutes in a range of 20 kilometers at a time.
The goal is to bring this product to the commercial market in the next year, after which it will be very helpful in testing and monitoring water pollution. Also, this technique can be used in drug and chemical spraying, etc.
