Chandrayaan 2 has been launched from the Sriharikota Space Station on 22 July 2019. Chandrayaan 2 has taken 5 rounds of the earth in approx 22 days.

In Chandrayaan 2 latest news, Chandrayaan 2 has left earth’s orbit and entered in lunar transfer trajectory today and in next 5 days, Chandrayaan 2 will enter in Moon’s orbit. Where after 13 days Vikram lander will be detached from the orbiter. It is expected to make a soft landing on Moon’s south pole on 07-September-2019.

As per ISRO updates about Chandrayaan 2 mission, that all types of equipment on Chandrayaan 2 are working perfectly fine. With this landing of Chandrayaan 2 on Moon India will be the 4th country after Russia, America, and China to land on Moon and the first country to land on the south pole of Moon.
